Blog Monday

I feel the end to "The Lord of The Flies" was terrible because It doesn't show them in their normal state instead it put a group of kids on an island with NO FOOD and no adults to help keep order between the youngsters. The kids in this book first of all are too young to have a good understanding on what okay and whats not. For example killing Piggy, the one kid who still had his head on his shoulders. All of the other kids abandoned the kids who still had a good grasp on reality. The fact being, you don't have to kill each other in order to survive in fact killing each other will just make it harder. If I were to fix the ending I would change it so Piggy became the leader and helped to teach the other children good from bad because without being taught good from bad there's no way you can keep on the path to goodness.

Human nature is only an idea placed in your mind, when there's no punishment in place for your bad action, there will be more to follow.

These boys are true pure hearted humans! They look out for each other like family even though most don't even know each other. These boys are model citizens, and everyone should take note. Not only have they seen and experienced terrible awful things they still care enough for the others to lend a helping hand no matter how bad things got for themselves. Every human has the opportunity to be as caring and thoughtful as these boys if only given the proper environment to learn from. I'm not saying put children through these situations, I'm simply saying with some TLC every child can grow up a loving individual.
